A decentralized team of builders introduces DND721, an evolving GameFi experiment on Shibarium and Base that merges NFT mechanics, tabletop-inspired gameplay, and dual-token dynamics into a persistent, community-shaped ecosystem.
At D-Cent, we put ourselves on a quest (16 months and counting) to create something during this bear cycle with infectious energy: community, storytelling, and game-play, all tied to an easy-to-understand investment token.
D-Cent is a decentralized team of DeFi veterans, game enthusiasts, and art lovers fusing crypto with the classic magic of tabletop gaming.
Our flagship initiative? A dual-token and NFT ecosystem built for the Shibarium network (and mirrored on Base) that promises adventures.
Welcome to DND721.
D-Cent is the umbrella composed of a collection of individuals born from the chaos and camaraderie of DeFi. After successfully adopting, repurposing and working to bring new value to three different Shibarium projects, our team focused its efforts on combining and building something we’d feel good running for years to come: a full-fledged universe of games and utility assets.
DND721 is our quest to bridge gaming, crypto, NFTs, and community in a way that can’t be replicated quickly or casually.
We are a passionate group working together: My Name is Mudd, Yamez, Arcturus, Wawaskittles, Waldo McCoy, The Buss, Pyrobrain, and so many more who show up and support what we’re building. Special shout-out to K9 Finance, an official sponsor of our show, and a long list of friends too long to name.
The first thing to say about $DND721 is that it’s not a meme, and it’s not built on hype. We’ve spent over a year building a GameFi ecosystem that utilizes in-game currency, a ticket to bonus content, and a native gas reward token. It’s designed to provide frictionless rewards to holders with $Bone (on Shibarium) or $ETH (on Base) just for holding. But that’s just the surface!
Where $DND721 really sets itself apart is in how it powers DND721, a soon-to-be-released 10,000-card NFT trading series designed for Dungeons & Dragons-inspired game-play, podcasting, and full community participation. $DND721 is the currency for pre-game and in-game purchases, and the NFT creates the foundation of your hero.
With 2,500 cards launching in Wave 1, these aren’t just pieces of art, the cards are utility-packed and actively become your hero in a game… and on our podcast.
Despite being in-game currency, $DND721 is also a legit investment opportunity that rewards hodlers. You get built-in passive gas rewards, yes, but we didn’t stop there.
We added bonus content access. Soon, you’ll be able to connect your wallet to Discord via Collabland and unlock premium content that’s usually behind a Patreon paywall. Hodling $DND721 token or NFTs is your backstage pass.
$DND721 lets you buy gear, potions, magic items, and more to give your character flair, power, and of course, shenanigans.
Tokenomics Breakdown:
The result? A token that pays you, powers a growing game ecosystem, and backs collectible playing cards all in one tight-knit, but growing, community.
The DND721 NFT collection was built with near-OCD levels of obsessive care. Every card is generated through AI, framed by hand, edited in Photoshop, and lovingly refined and polished. Think of them as digital D&D character sheets, but collectible, tradable, some downright stunning, and all usable!
Each card contains one of 120 different unique Race/Class combos, randomized ability scores, random skills, and armor classes to get your hero started. These serve as the nucleus of your adventures in our games, setting the foundation for your hero in our table top, home-brew world.
And yes, rarity is baked in before mint, even the commons have their own layers of scarcity bringing them value.
Wave 1 (2,500 cards) includes:
There are 25 themed Rare Series (like “Sunflowers” or “Jellyfish Forest”), while the Ultra-Rares feature hand-optimized stats and exclusive art. These are the cream of the crop for both collectors and Min-Max players.
You don’t need to be a dungeon-crawler to see the value. Think of this like getting in on V-Bucks or Robux before Fortnite or Roblox blew up. Imagine if you could buy those in game credits, and as more players bought and used them, the value went up, and you could later sell those game credits. That’s what $DND721 and the NFT collection offer; even passive investors have good reasons to hold.
One of our more clever strategies to grow awareness is through our live-play podcast which we broadcast across platforms like Spotify, iHeartRadio, Amazon, and Patreon.
Our podcast has (at the time of this writing) TWENTY SEVEN campaign episodes, some of which are nearly four hours long, FIVE community One-Shot Adventures, FIVE gladiator style arena battles, and THREE “Dice Discussion” episodes. Best part, it’s all authentic, theater of the mind.
The games, the victories, the drama and sometimes bitter losses are all real and serve as our window into the game industry to capture the attention of others outside of the typical crypto crowd.
Even better? The show provides a non-crypto access point via Patreon, enabling new fans to participate and support this project without ever touching a wallet. It’s a clever on-boarding tool into the Shibarium world.
It’s all passion and sweat equity. We’ve worked hard to accomplish achievable goals, and we have no shortage of big ideas for the future. DND721 is meant to be a refreshing twist in a world of stale tokens, empty promises, and rug-pulled roadmaps.
Whether you’re here for gas rewards, collectibles, games, the podcast, or just the fun community vibes, D-Cent is building something for everyone.
So sharpen your sword, grab your spellbook, strap on your headphones, and get ready for The Adventure Ahead.
